I have twenty-five years of catering experience. My wife and I started Mr. G's Catering back in 1992, with a desire and passion to serve great tasting homemade food. Believing in the importance of family, we chose to use recipes handed down from our family generations. Many of our family members have helped in the kitchen for Mr. G's Catering. I am a people person so I really enjoy working with clients and or my staff. I am very fussy and refuse to serve something that doesn't taste or look good. Exclusively, I make it a priority to meet every clients need. Through out all the years I have been catering, I still have not lost the desire or the love to cook for people. In 2006 I partnered up with Eric Feldblum and we started Two Homemade Cooks, LLC.
My culinary experience began at age 17 as a line cook at a popular local restaurant in Newington, CT. After 2 years I became the kitchen manager. Following my employment there and while I was going to college for a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering I continued cooking at Picadilly Pub. My last restaurant experience was a part-time position running a kitchen at a private country club for the members. In 2006, John and I joined our culinary experiences and established Two Homemade Cooks. Through word of mouth and repeating customers, we became a successful catering business, and want to expand our vision and share our food across the state of Connecticut.
